A bad case of spring fever today....I am enjoying watching my garden grow and bloom .
Here is a watercolor[ in a notebook] of a coral pink tulip, one of a dozen or so out there. Because of allergies, I cannot just linger outside and enjoy the balmy day...
For improving my mind, I am reading this book by Jane Austen. Her last published novel.
I have also pin basted 2 quilt tops, and am going to yoga this afternoon. Dinner is in the crockpot!

Bravo for Spring fever ;-)
and keep enjoying yourself!
Spring fever is everywhere! You seem to be enjoying yourself in spite of allergies.
Sounds like a nice day. Our car is covered in a fine layer of pollen - and fortunately I no longer have allergies. I use local honey - on my toast - in my tea - and that cures allergies. The little bit of pollen in the honey acts like those allergy shots from the doctor - giving you a little bit of the pollen over time builds up resistance to allergies. I truly enjoyed this fabulous spring day.
I love honey...so will try to find a local variety!
Your painting is so beautiful ...simple and elegant!
And would you believe? I am reading Persuasion right now, too! I have been buying the classics in Hardback from Barnes and Noble and this was the last one on my list to buy. I found it in a book store in FL. I just finished Jane Eyre and it was so SAD. Persuasion is supposed to be uplifting and encouraging! Happy Earth day to you, girlfriend!
That tulip is just gorgeous. You really captured it. It looks like a botanical drawing.
