The garden today....our temperature outside is about 33 and it is snowing this morning.
In the past few days some hungry creature has nibbled almost all of my Red Russian Kale down to nothing. They ate a few pansies too. So far, they have ignored the "Dinasaur Kale" and the "Merlot" lettuce.
We are having thunder and snow as I write this. I hope the blizzard areas of the country are getting some relief. We will only have a light dusting (I think...)

Sorry about the nibblers - guess we have to expect that when we plant such tasty morsels. Hope the next crop does better.
I wanted to stop by and say a long over due hello and to wish you a Happy Spring!
Hope all is well in your family and your creative world!!!!
XO
Lisa
don't you love that ~ it's prepared, they're planted and looking healthy with a bit of new growth and BAM! a gang of hungry marauders shows up in the night and has a feast on your labors....I try to think of it as pruning ...
I hope you have spring soon and those dustings of snow evaporate in the warm sunlight.
blessings...
Stay warm and hopefully you won't lose electricity in this storm! We are having rain and cool temps!
Lila I've just come in by way of Julie's and read about the flooding in her world!! Snow in yours!! Those rabbits are starving..please forgive them..I think I'll stay a bit longer in this perfect world here in Az..with sunshine Gemma and Spring in March!
Sending sunshine your way..NG :)
I actually don't mind sharing my kale with the hungry bunnies.
Over the years having a garden, we seem to share with all kinds of little friends. We are Organic, and so we feel that it is part of the experience.
We are windy and cold, and I have not been well, so I haven't done anything. We are blooming, nature takes a hand.
Big Love, Mary
