"COME AWAY WITH ME" chair in progress!
Former bare old chair now painted blue with raffia woven into the back.
Here is a rough sketch of where this thing may be going.... palm tree, seashells, beach umbrella and lovely ladies holding tropical flowers still to be painted. We'll see....
It is coming along nicely I think. Now to stop and do chores....cottage keeping and cooking. Here is bread rising to bake in a couple of hours!

The chair is totally wonderful. I've hardly done any art this week, so it is fun to see your work in both departments. Yes, I consider bread an art.
Lila, That chair is wonderful. It is coming along very, very well. One of my blogging friends is hoping to move to a house at the beach. She is collecting beachy things and she would fall in love with this chair and want to buy it! Did you say it was for a charity event?
I have 4 chairs and a rocker waiting for me to get with it. I have plans but it seems like so many things are ahead of doing them. This is lovely, food for thought. I am going for a victorian feel..we will see. Hugs, Mary
