Journaling amidst morning breezes!

It is so good to be home this morning, outside my studio door with coffee and my journal.
The smudge tool was fun to use to add the visual morning breezes! The day will heat up later, but a new cool morning will be there tomorrow! I hope all of you find a refreshing place just to BE for a moment today!

[Fashion note LOL!: the floral T-shirt I am wearing is by Jim Thompson, my daughter brought it to me from her honeymoon trip to Thailand!]

Saturday, UPDATE:

Experiencing intense muscle spasms the last few days, (and having visited both a walk-in-clinic and then a chiropractor) I stayed off the Rx's and just tried to let my body heal itself. I rested and read 3 books...but relaxing was hard for me. Feeling guilty for missing work...etc..
Doing things became more and more difficult and painful. Finally last night, when I hurt so bad (both arms now) and couldn't even hold the telephone while talking to daughter Laura, I decided to go back on all the Rx's including the methylprednisolone. Today, I am just resting and hoping.....not able to "DO" anything, watch movies and sleep. I know that being able to relax is a big part of healing...and that has included a few gentle yoga stretches.
Now, I must quit typing too! [although, doing this "creative" blog post has probably relaxed me more than anything else for days! Blogging to relieve tension...like journaling it IS good for us!]

A page from the book I ordered. I love it!

This is the "May" chapter from the book "Painted Garden" by Mary Woodin. She has a year of watercolor and gardening notes from her English garden. My iris are in bloom now, too....must get out there with my paints!!!!!
