Simple Sunday
.......posting a day late!
I am in love with lavendar for relaxing!
Off with the flannel sheets!
Welcome spring with crisp clean cotton sheets misted with a lavendar linen spray (whether you iron or not)!
[two words pulled at "random"..1)indigo- a quiet deep twilight blue color, it is beautiful on its own but works well with others! 2) pears-ordinary,commonplace, nurturing, with a decidedly feminine shape.] Musings and findings resulting from following my bliss...I love to sketch and paint...so I have watercolors to post also!

I LOVE the scent of lavender...I used to have the linen spray but it ran out, I think with Spring it's time to get more. I have some lavender I bought some time ago I need to crush AND I really want to grow my own. It's the perfect scent!
XOXO
Ummmmm! My lavender plants are green/graying/silvering up right now! They need some snow or more rain and they'll pop to life soon. Luckily they start down close to the ground and are smart about the whole process. Too bad I never remember to harvest and dry some! What Am I Thinking? she wonders as she gives herself a V-8 head bop!
I have to agree Lila. There is nothing more heady and relaxing as lavender UNLESS of course you mix lavender with vanilla. Heavenly.
Lavender is so pretty to look at and to smell. It always makes everything fresh and bright. I still haven't taken off the flannel sheets. We're have chilly, windy weather again!
Yes! Lavender ummhh!! but what can I say I love flowers and trees! herbs and nature! Thank you for sharing those links about the fabrics, I will check them out!
