I love this painting by Eva Gonzales...what a restful, peaceful image. I can just feel those wonderful white bed linens and is that lavender in the glass on the table?

It is Wednesday afternoon....I just found this test on Janet's blog.

In the meantime, I am still knitting on those socks, and planning to return home tomorrow after Mom's morning doctor's appointment. It has been a fun week, we are both cutting and pasting our clippings and memoribilia....I have a scanner at home so I may publish some later.

What a lovely painting, I think its me waking up on a summer morning in my cottage smelling the lavender on my bedside table lol! I think I might take it off the Dover site, blow it up and print it out and hang it in the bedroom. Thank you showing the painting.

Yes, it would be great in a bedroom, and of course you could certainly supply a vase of fresh lavender to go with it! I think you could even purchase a poster size print by looking on-line under Eva Gonzales....I may have to do that myself...and/or paint one that is similar.
We can be neighbors in Rome! Think of all the fun we could have with those gorgeous Italian men!! Oops, there's HB again. He's keeping a close eye on me lately!

Aw, waking to the smell of fresh lavender. I don't care where I am, that sounds heavenly! That is my all-time favorite smells!!
