My mother taught me to sew.....
This has truly been one of the most significant parts of my life. From the early memories of watching her sew things for me and my brothers and sisters,
I wanted to be involved. This probably was the beginning of much of my creative life.
This weekend and coming week, I am visiting with my mom for a few days . She is about to have cataract surgery on Monday... it will undoubtably be a wonderful thing for her as she will be able to see well again and continue her sewing and other creative interests.
So, you may not hear much from me...I may not be able to respont to your comments...but I will be thinking of you and reading your posts.

Hi Lila hope all goes well with your Mom. Love the flowers you posted
xoxo
Sending love
Good luck to your Mom. Mine just had 2 surgeries on her eyes from pressure in them caused by her diabetes. I know that has helped her sight a lot. She will have to have cataract surgery when all is well with the pressure. Love, Hugs, and Blessings
I hope your mom's cataract surgery goes well. I'll be thinking of you both.
I hope your mom is doing much better and also I have to say what a beautiful post about your art and how it started, I am sure your mom will love to keep doing it when she recovers. My prayers are with you. Love and peace, Pl
