A New creative year! 2018!

We are almost thru the first month of 2018.

Our day today was sunny and wonderful, high in the 60ms.

Just like last Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 when the weather gave us a beautiful day for the local women's March to the Polls!!! Getting ready for mid-term elections this year!

Here goes! I did the post about a week ago...it was good, but would not publish...so now I am choosing photos and just saying a little about each!

My daughter and her children were here when some of us came home from the community meal at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She had driven 12 hours from Georgia to spend a few days with us!!!

It was a great visit!

Here are some photos....beginning with Sunday evening when we came home from a community meal at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Daughter Laura (recently divorced) was here (after a 12 hour drive!)with our grandchildren from Georgia.

The election was a disgrace and a disaster!!!! The week with the kids gave us a respit from the terrible nightmare!!!

Midsummer memories

Not the happiest summer of my life. A difficult divorce in my daughter's family and the closing of the fabric store where I had a part-time job for many years.
