Mr. P and I are wondering about the HUGE icicles on our house and none of the newer homes...because we just got a new roof AND a new energy star heating system this past November...
SO, why is the snow melting off of our house and not others.....unless our heat ducts in the attic are leaking....so we will have to be getting back with the company which installed the central heat...hmmm.
Meanwhile, the icicles are record breakers too!

Photos taken as the sun was coming out this morning! It was hitting these icicles just outside the bathroom window, so I grabbed my camera! [ It was sunny yesterday too...and the temperature was minus 18! A record low for our city!]
Today should get above freezing and then the weekend will be warm! Yeah!

Usually uninsulated houses have snow melt on the roof - hope that you get this figured out and stop the heat leakage. But the photos are gorgeous in the mean time.
Our mid 1960's house needs a new roof and heating system--it's always something, isn't it? Hope you get it all straightened out and fixed.
I was just wondering-- just how COLD does minus 18 feel?
