The new bed and different bedroom call for a new quilt!
This one with 8" blocks, turning horizontal and then vertical, has a peaceful, almost Zen-like feeling. Restful. I love the soft/bright pastels with the honeydew colored walls in the room.
My friend Tracie has invited me to visit her fabric stash and see if I can find some that will work in this scrappy pastel quilt...so Friday I will be visiting and take a look. [May take my camera too....Tracie is and artist with an interesting home and garden!]

Hi Lila,
This quilt is so beautiful. Love the color combinations. Honeydew color on the wall sounds so refreshing!
Sure has been a hot Summer !!
What beautiful soft colors! I'm glad you got the room all set up! I know you will be glad to get things in order! It's been a summer of transition! Hugs! ♥♥♥
Lovely Lila....A real feeling of home.
Where did you find the lovely honeydew color? It does sound refreshing! I haven't painted my bedroom in ten years!!! I hate to confess that, but it's true! I've been considering eggnog on the walls, and palest blue on the ceiling. I have such a problem with making up my mind. When I was younger I changed colors often on the walls, but I made some real mistakes in color choices, I just couldn't live with! Hope your mom is getting settled in.
Thank-you all for the comments! I can harldy wait until I get the fabrics to play with and make 30 more blocks!
