What's for dinner?
Our friend Lizzzie is coming to town. I want a comfort food dinner... from the crockpot as today is a day full of errands. 
INGREDIENTS
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon fennel seed, crushed
1 tablespoon dried rosemary, crushed

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (3 pound) boneless pork loin roast
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (3 pound) boneless pork loin roast
Brown pork roast in a hot skillet on the stove top. Place pork in a crockpot. Deglaze the skillet with the balsamic vinegar and pour over the roast in the crockpot. Add all other ingredients.
Cook slowly all day. Enjoy!

Lila, thanks for posting that recipe. I think even Dan would like it. Altho I don't know if either of us has actually tasted fennel. Say hi to Lizzzie for me.
Dan took my car today so I was "stranded" with the dogs. I told him he had to buy the makings for dinner. He came home with the ingredients for French dip sandwiches and fries, so that was enjoyable.
I think I will let him keep my car tomorrow too. If my sis wants to go out for lunch, fine, she can drive. If not, that's fine too. I will just cocoon at home!
