Two books I love.....for sewing ideas and for just "being" happy at home!
The first is "The Gentle Art of Domesticity" by Jane Brocket. Her photos are lovely and her life in England is interesting. This is a book I wanted last year, but had to wait until it became available over here. In addition to wonderful knitting and quilting, there are a few recipes which look wonderful! Jane writes the "Yarnstorm" blog.
Next is Anna Maria Horner's "Seams to Me". A lovely book to spread the joy of sewing. The photos are luscious in both books...I'm noticing lots of orange and red-orange. I think I may need another copy of "Seams to Me" for my granddaughter...as she is interested in sewing....and "Project Runway"!

I will add those to my wish list on Amazon! I love books and these look inspiring. I promised myself I would sew today instead of blog! heehee!
I just saw that first book in the store a couple of days ago but passed it up thinking it was about cleaning! Now I think I'll go take a second look. I just love when I see book reviews on blogs.
(PS- I'm back from my blog break but still not doing much posting. I seem to have run dry!)
Lila,I visited Yarnstorm blog. It's a peaceful place. In fact you have alot of links on your sidebar that I'd like to visit.
Sending love to you
