Paintings are playful

The studio has been a great place to be for the last few days....

Here are paintings as I work on them and change them....

This purple floral under painting uses stencils which are made of hot glue!

Now, a detail....(more dark stencil marks in the background)

Becomes this.....

While I was painting, granddaughter Lilia finished sewing the prom dress she had designed.....so proud of this girl!
Next year she will be going to Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhatten!

And we have another granddaughter on the way.....so I have started a quilt for her....

AND one last item.....chalk painting a table....

That is all for now!

Very productive April!

A quick post to show some of my projects from the past month.

Blocks for a bright pink "Talkin' Turkey" quilt top....(only 6 more to go now). Pattern from Bonnie Hunter!

One of many bird stitcheries I made for our silent auction at the quilt show (April 7-8).

Here are more...

A gift for a tie-dye loving friend....

These were a commission from two sisters, and feature antique red buttons....

Work in progress....

Playing with orphan butterfly block.....
