Some have requested that I show the creative changes I made to the linen camp shirt which I got at the thrift store. Here are some photos showing the embroidery (with natural linen thread) and the crochet trim I added. I was able to lenghten the sleeves about 3.5 inches this way! [Cropped fabric from the lower edge of the shirt and used it on the sleeves.]

The shirt is fantastic! I love the changes you made to it. I wish I was better at sewing because nothing ever fits me right.

Oh, I love your 'new' top! It will be perfect for summer! I like to wear something like that over a tank top! It's great for layering! Your quilt looks the rich colors! ♥

beautiful shirt..I love birds..been picking up pieces of papers, dollar-store stamps..with birds...quilt seems to float..lovely ..take care
