I think it is the change in the weather, a new month or maybe the full moon coming soon....

.....I want a new hairstyle.....so I've been on-line, looking. These were 2 of my favorites!!! Now, is that really a before and after above???? The bone structure seems to be right. A real glamour photo! Hmmmm....wonder if the eyes are colored contact lenses???? The artist in me loves all these colors!
Having purple spiky hair is a definite fantasy of mine, but I wouldn't like the up-keep nor the comments it would bring. I'll save it for a fantasy self-portrait.[maybe the self-portrait to go with the popular, "THE WITCH IS IN" idea!]
This (below) is closer to my reality, it is the color my hair often is...but of course, I look nothing like Katie Holmes. (Look at the graceful long neck!)
I almost pulled into a "walk-ins welcome" salon today....but the reality of it set in....I was in search of a fantasy which salons always fail to deliver!!! So, as I have done for most of my life, I will get out the barber shears and the Clairol and see what I end up with later today!!!!

I think all you need is some big sunglasses and a scarf! I LOVE this hair cut...kind of wispy on the ends and lots of layers. I met Miss Clairol yesterday and I feel OH so much better today! heehee! I wouldn't try to cut my own hair though! I would HAVE to go get it recut the same day! Can't wait to see your new 'do'!

Fun, Diane! Inspite of cutting and discarding lots of hair, bangs shorter, trying for a bit of texture...my husband says my hair cut looks just like it did when we met. That was 1968.(I was cutting it myself then too!) I told him wasn't he lucky that I still look like that girl! LOL!
So, I guess I didn't get very radical after all...just want to have it easy. I have too many other projects to spend much time on styling it!

I say go for the purple spikes but then you knew I'd say that!! You're a brave one if you cut your own hair! The only time I ever took scissors to mine it was to cut some bangs and it ended up a horrid mess. I'm sure yours will turn out better. Can't wait to see it!

My hair is not that different from my teenage years either! lol But aren't you glad there are gels and foam to put in it now and we don't have to sleep in rollers! Enjoy your day!
