Remembering.....Wye Mountain Daffodils

This is my daughter about 25 years ago. In a soft yellow sweater, in a field of daffodils. Both of us had to kneel down to be on "daffodil" level. Every March this field on a mountain in Arkansas is covered with daffodils. They were planted over the years by the couple who used to live there, and have muliplied as the years passed. What a golden gift for future generations!

I have been posting some collage work here.

What a beautiful photo. How wonderful of those people to share their bounty with everyone.

Now I have been many places, it remains a wonderful place full of flowers in my mind and heart. Thanks for a visual to tap into my own mental video. liz

What a wonderful gift that hill of daffodils is! I love to see drifts of them, but don't see it often enough!

I popped over to look at the collages. I love Suzanne!

Lila, she's the prettiest bloom of all.

You asked where the cypress photo was taken. It was at the western base of Pinnacle, along the Kingfisher Trail which runs alongside a little creek.

Your daughter looks like a flower herself sitting there among all the daffodils. That must be such a beautiful site in person. Out here we have hillsides covered with orange poppies.
