This is the cover of the Art Journal I started last year...I will scan and upload some of my favorite pages...
I make the pages by cutting and gluing things from magazines and work in our photos..and my artwork....I usually work in an acid free spiral bound scrap book....then I can tie things(like tags and note cards) on the spiral wire when I wish!
It is time to get another "cut and paste" journal going.... funny though, there is something about blogging that satisfies some of the same creative need...

This idea appeals to me very much. I just tried a collage today but it turned out to be a disaster. What kind of glue do you use when you do this kind of collage?
I use acid free scrapbooking glue sticks....I just consider that none of this will last forever anyway...(my one fear is of grabbing the glue stick when I mean to use lipgloss!)
And the pitures/words cut from magazines are not acid free and I am not about to start spraying them to remove the acid....I have too many things going to take them very seroiusly!
